The Seychelles Football Federation (SFF) is inviting expressions of interest from qualified and experienced football technical experts (preferably Seychellois) for the position of Technical Director.
This is a prestigious opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of Seychelles football by managing its technical aspects including player and coach development, performance analysis, and sports science.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Coaching Qualification: Minimum qualification, a valid CAF License A coaching certification or equivalent.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years as a Technical Director or in a similar leadership role within the football industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Football Development & Competition Concepts.
- Languages: Proficiency in English or French (written and spoken).

- Creative mindset with the ability to identify and implement new ideas and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Technical Department and overseeing its daily operations and strategic direction.
- Oversee the development of programs for grassroots, youth, and national teams.
- Design and implement programs for developing young players and coaches.
- Develop and implement football education programs for coaches, referees, administrators, medical officers, and players.
- Oversee grassroots and youth development structures to ensure effectiveness.
- Monitor and assess the application of technical norms set by the SFF.
- Manage staff performance, discipline, and grievances within the department.
- Analyze player performance and implement strategies to improve it.
- Develop and oversee the Technical Department’s annual and monthly budgets.
- Ensure the technical team stays updated on football laws and conduct necessary training.
- Build and maintain key relationships with football stakeholders and partners.
- Provide regular reports to the CEO on technical activities and progress.
- Identify and mentor local understudy talent to ensure continuity and sustainability.
